10. IANA Considerations (IANA 考虑)

RFC 6066 不要求 IANA 创建新的 registry. 本文档使用 RFC 5246 定义的 ExtensionType registry, 并为第 1.1 节列出的 extension type 更新规范引用.

本文档也使用 RFC 5246 定义的 TLS HandshakeType registry. 第 8 节使用 certificate_status(22) handshake message type, 该值由 RFC 4366 分配, 本文档更新其引用.

10.1 MIME Type Registration for pkipath (pkipath MIME 类型注册)

本文档登记 application/pkipath media type. 它表示 ASN.1 PkiPath ::= SEQUENCE OF Certificate 的 DER encoding, 用于表示 certification path. 所有 certificate SHOULD 符合 RFC 5280. 如果通过 7-bit transport 发送, SHOULD 使用 base64 encoding.

10.2 Registry Reference Updates (注册表引用更新)

TLS alert, TLS handshake type 和 TLS extension type registry 中对 RFC 4366 的相关引用更新为指向 RFC 6066.
