3. Protocol Overview

agent protocol 是 packetised request-response protocol, 完全由 client 驱动. client 向 agent 发送 requests, agent 按顺序发送 replies. agent 除响应 client request 外, 任何时候都不发送 messages.

Requests 包括向 agent 加载 keys, 移除 keys, 列出 keys, 以及使用 previously loaded keys 执行 signature operations. Agents MAY 只实现 key types 的子集, 也 MAY 在特定 contexts 中拒绝某些 operations. Clients SHOULD 在 operation 被拒绝时 gracefully fail.
