1. 引言 (Introduction)
Opportunistic Wireless Encryption (OWE) [RFC8110] 是 IEEE Std 802.11 的一种 opportunistic security [RFC7435] 模式, 在不进行认证的情况下为无线介质提供加密.
自发布以来, [RFC8110] (也称为 "[Wi-Fi_Enhanced_Open]") 已被广泛实现和部署.
IEEE 802.11 Working Group [IEEE_802.11] 请求获得维护和开发 OWE 的能力 (见 [IEEE_LS]), 以确保该协议与 IEEE protocols 保持同步. 本文档表示同意 OWE [RFC8110] 的未来工作现在将在 IEEE 802.11 Working Group 中进行.
