摘要 (Abstract)
本文档定义了 Brotli 压缩格式, 这是一种通用的无损压缩算法, 特别适合 HTTP 内容压缩.
Brotli 使用 LZ77 样式的 backward references、context modeling、Huffman prefix codes 和 static dictionary 等机制来提高压缩率. RFC 7932 描述压缩表示、距离编码、literal/copy length、block switching、上下文建模、静态字典、压缩数据格式以及解码算法. 其中算法伪代码和表格是实现互操作的关键依据.
