10. IANA Considerations (IANA 考虑)

RFC 7516 在 IANA "JSON Web Signature and Encryption Header Parameters" registry 中注册 JWE 使用的 Header Parameter name.

注册项包括 alg, enc, zip, jku, jwk, kid, x5u, x5c, x5t, x5t#S256, typ, cty 和 crit. 这些参数的 usage location 为 JWE, change controller 为 IESG, specification document 指向 RFC 7516 第 4.1 节相应小节.

与 JWA 共同使用时, JWE 还依赖 "JSON Web Signature and Encryption Algorithms" registry 以及 "JSON Web Encryption Compression Algorithms" registry 中的 algorithm 和 compression identifier.
