Appendix E. 可与 BGP 一起使用的 TCP Option (TCP Options that May Be Used with BGP)

如果本地系统 TCP user interface 支持 TCP PUSH function, 则每个 BGP message SHOULD 在设置 PUSH flag 的情况下传输. 设置 PUSH flag 会强制 BGP message 及时交付给 receiver.

如果本地系统 TCP user interface 支持为 TCP connection 设置 DSCP field [RFC2474], 则 BGP 使用的 TCP connection SHOULD 在打开时将 DSCP field 的 bit 0-2 设置为 110 (binary).

implementation MUST 支持 TCP MD5 option [RFC2385].
