4. Terminology and Units

In this document, agent means the key management component implementing the responder side. Client means a requester communicating with an agent. SSH client and SSH server are used when the Secure Shell role matters.

Encoding data types such as byte, uint32, string, and byte[] follow Section 5 of [RFC4251]. All length units are bytes unless otherwise specified.
