6. Limitations

QProt groups packets by common Layer 4 identifiers. This is pragmatic rather than scientifically fundamental. Multiple application flows can share one tunnel or VPN flow identifier, while a single application can use multiple flows. The queuing score mitigates this limitation by only counting rate inasmuch as it contributes to queuing.
