Questo documento descrive un approccio sperimentale alternativo per applicare l'Alternate-Marking Method a Segment Routing for IPv6 (SRv6). Usa un experimental TLV nel Segment Routing Header (SRH), quindi la partecipazione all'esperimento e' pensata per parti coordinate in un controlled domain.

L'approccio puo' offrire vantaggi di scalabilita' e semplificazione rispetto alla tecnica descritta in RFC 9343. Lo scopo dell'esperimento e' determinare se tali benefici siano significativi e interessanti per la comunita'.
