9. Riferimenti (References)

Questa sezione elenca i riferimenti normativi e informativi utilizzati dal meccanismo CoAP Observe. I riferimenti normativi definiscono le parole chiave RFC 2119, la semantica delle relazioni di Web Linking nonché il protocollo di base CoAP e influenzano quindi direttamente l'interpretazione delle relazioni di osservazione, dei messaggi di notifica e dei collegamenti alle risorse.

I riferimenti informativi forniscono il contesto progettuale e le tecnologie correlate, tra cui il pattern observer, l'architettura REST, l'aritmetica dei numeri di serie, le linee guida per l'uso di UDP, gli abbonamenti agli eventi SIP, il long polling e lo streaming HTTP, il formato di collegamento CoRE, la terminologia per le reti a nodi vincolati nonché la sintassi dei messaggi HTTP/1.1. Questi documenti aiutano il lettore a comprendere perché CoAP Observe adotta un modello di notifica leggero e come esso si colleghi all'architettura Web e agli ambienti di rete vincolati.
