10.1. 媒体类型注册更新

本备忘录更新 [RFC9695] 中定义的 hmpg haptic subtype, 用于 ISO/IEC 23090-31: Haptics coding [ISO.IEC.23090-31] 中描述的 MPEG-I 触觉可流式二进制编码格式. 本备忘录在第 6.1 节为该类型定义可选参数. IANA 在 [RFC9695] 中注册的原始 haptics/hmpg subtype 注册项未包含任何必需或可选参数. 本文档引入可选参数, 以便在保持向后兼容的同时支持扩展功能.

对于使用 SDP 的应用, 本文档还提供了这些参数到 SDP [RFC8866] 的映射. 对于不使用 SDP 的控制协议, 等效参数可以在其他位置定义. 接收方必须忽略本备忘录未规定的任何参数.

IANA 已更新 "Media Types" 注册表组内 "haptics" 注册表中的 haptics 注册项 (见第 6.2 节), 并将本文档列为附加引用.
