5. Redefined Conversion Rule for the uid Property

Card uid property 从 vCard 转换的规则, 即 [RFC9555] Section 2.1.1 中原有定义, 在本文档中被重新定义.

Implementations 将没有 UID property 的 vCard 转换为 version "2.0" 或更高版本的 Card 时, MUST NOT 为 uid property 生成 unique identifier.

当把没有 UID 的 vCard 转换为 JSContact version "1.0" 时, implementations MUST 为 uid 生成一个值. 如何生成 unique identifiers 属于 implementation-specific. Implementations SHOULD 在多次生成同一 Card 时生成相同值, 但这仍无法避免 interoperability issues. 因此, implementations SHOULD NOT 转换为 version "1.0" Card objects.
