8. IANA 考虑事项 (IANA Considerations)

按照 [8] 中的准则, IANA 已注册一个新的 SDP attribute:

  • Contact name/email: authors of RFC 5761
  • Attribute name: rtcp-mux
  • Long-form attribute name: RTP and RTCP multiplexed on one port
  • Type of attribute: media level
  • Subject to charset: no

此 attribute 用于指示 RTP 和 RTCP traffic 应在单个 port 上 multiplexed (见本备忘录第 5 节). 它是 property attribute, 不接受值.

RTP Parameters registry 中 RTP RTCP Control Packet Types 的分配规则更新如下. 分配 RTP RTCP Control Packet types 时, 请求 IANA 尽可能从 200-223 范围内分配未使用值. 如果该范围已完全占用, 可以使用 194-199 范围内的值, 然后使用 1-191 和 224-254 范围内的值. 与 RTP packets 或其他无关 packets 相比, 这改进了 RTCP packets 的 header validity checking. 为了相对于 random packets 改进有效性检查, 避免使用值 0 和 255, 因为 all-zeros 和 all-ones 是常见值.
