ICE's security relies on STUN's security mechanisms. Major security considerations include:
- Message Integrity: Use message integrity checks to prevent tampering
- Credential Protection: Usernames and passwords must be unguessable
- Denial of Service Attacks: Prevent resource exhaustion attacks
- Privacy Protection: Candidate addresses may leak topology information
