IKEv2 can serve as an alternate Phase 1 protocol for GDOI, providing modern cryptographic agility and improved performance.

A.2. KINK Protocol

Kerberized Internet Negotiation of Keys (KINK) provides an alternative authentication framework using Kerberos infrastructure.
