5.3. Discussion of AppleTalk Addressing

The AppleTalk protocol suite has certain features that are not obvious to those not versed in that protocol suite. AppleTalk's naming strategy and the dynamic nature of address assignment can cause problems for SNMP entities if appropriate consideration is not given to these features. This section discusses some of these issues.
