It is generally inappropriate to store DDP addresses between the operation of an SNMP application, and it is generally inappropriate to cache DDP addresses for periods on the order of minutes or longer, as AppleTalk addresses are quite dynamic. DDP addresses can change as the result of AppleTalk routing activities, network reconfiguration, and other events.
