概要 (Abstract)

本文書は、HTTPクライアントが上流サーバーに対してリクエストへのレスポンスの優先順位付け方法に関する設定を伝達できるスキームと、サーバーが下流の中継装置に対してレスポンスの転送時の優先順位付け方法をヒントとして伝達できるスキームを記述します。本文書は、HTTPバージョンに依存しない方法で初期優先度を伝達するためのPriorityヘッダーフィールド (Priority Header Field) と、レスポンスの優先度を再設定するためのHTTP/2およびHTTP/3フレーム (Frames) を定義します。これらは将来の拡張性を提供するために設計された共通のフォーマット構造を共有します。
