7. IANA Considerations (IANAに関する考慮事項)

7.1. OAuth Authorization Server Metadata Registry (OAuth 承認サーバーメタデータレジストリ)​

この仕様は、OAuth パラメータレジストリに "OAuth Authorization Server Metadata" レジストリを確立し、セクション 2 で定義されたメタデータパラメータ名を登録します。

登録手順は "Specification Required" [RFC8126] であり、指定エキスパートによるレビューが必要です (REQUIRED)。ただし、値を予約するため、指定エキスパートは事前のレビューなしに仮登録を承認することができます (MAY)。

登録リクエストは、OAuth Authorization Server Metadata レジストリの適切なフィールドに従って、次の情報を含めることが推奨されます (RECOMMENDED):

  • Metadata Name (メタデータ名): 登録するメタデータパラメータの名前。名前は大文字と小文字を区別しない一致のための ASCII [USASCII] 文字列です。_（アンダースコア）、-（ハイフン）、.（ピリオド）以外の文字は含めないことが推奨されます (RECOMMENDED)。

  • Metadata Description (メタデータ説明): メタデータの簡単な説明。

  • Change Controller (変更管理者): 仕様の管理責任者。IETF 作業グループ名（仕様が作業グループで作業されている場合）または個人の名前（それ以外の場合）。

  • Specification Document(s) (仕様文書): このパラメータの初期定義を含む公開可能な仕様への参照。

7.2. Updated Registration Instructions (更新された登録手順)​

IANA は、IANA "OAuth Token Endpoint Authentication Methods" レジストリ [IANA.OAuth.Parameters] の登録手順を "Specification Required" に変更し（これまでは "Expert Review"）、IANA "OAuth Access Token Types" レジストリ [IANA.OAuth.Parameters] の登録手順を "Specification Required" に変更しました（これまでは "Expert Review"）。

7.3. Well-Known URI Registry (Well-Known URI レジストリ)​

この仕様は、RFC 5785 [RFC5785] によって確立された IANA "Well-Known URIs" レジストリに oauth-authorization-server well-known URI を登録します。
