5. セキュリティに関する考慮事項

本文書の目的は、RTP プロトコルを利用する複数の技術やプロトコルによる不整合な使用によって RTP 分類法に蔓延している混乱を軽減し、明確にすることです。RTP プロトコル [RFC3550] およびそれを利用するさまざまなプロトコルの各仕様ですでに十分に文書化されているセキュリティに関する考慮事項を超えて、新しい事項を導入することはありません。

適切に定義された共通の用語を持ち、RTP アーキテクチャの複雑さを理解することは、より良い標準を導き出し、セキュリティ上の問題を回避することに役立ちます。
