5. Considerazioni sulla Sicurezza

Lo scopo di questo documento è fornire chiarimenti e ridurre la confusione prevalente nella tassonomia RTP a causa dell'uso incoerente da parte di molteplici tecnologie e protocolli che utilizzano il protocollo RTP. Non introduce nuove considerazioni sulla sicurezza oltre a quelle già ben documentate nel protocollo RTP [RFC3550] e in ciascuna delle numerose rispettive specifiche dei vari protocolli che ne fanno uso.

Avere una terminologia comune ben definita e una comprensione delle complessità dell'architettura RTP ci aiuterà a definire standard migliori, evitando problemi di sicurezza.
