13. Contributors and Acknowledgements (Contributori e ringraziamenti)​

Il protocollo SPF è il risultato di anni di lavoro di molti individui e organizzazioni. Questa specifica si basa su RFC 4408 e riflette gli sforzi continui e il feedback della comunità SPF.

Un ringraziamento speciale a tutti i partecipanti della mailing list di sviluppo SPF, i cui contributi sono stati essenziali per lo sviluppo di SPF.

14. IANA Considerations (Considerazioni IANA)​

14.1 The SPF DNS Record Type (Il tipo di record DNS SPF)​

Questa specifica aggiorna i requisiti per i record SPF. I record SPF devono essere pubblicati esclusivamente come record DNS TXT (tipo 16).

Le versioni precedenti di SPF definivano un tipo di RR SPF dedicato (tipo 99), ma questo tipo è stato deprecato. Le implementazioni devono interrogare e pubblicare solo record TXT.

14.2 The Received-SPF Mail Header Field (Il campo di intestazione di posta Received-SPF)​

Il campo di intestazione Received-SPF è stato registrato nel registro permanente dei campi di intestazione dei messaggi dell'IANA.

  • Nome del campo di intestazione: Received-SPF
  • Protocollo: mail
  • Stato: standard
  • Riferimento: RFC 7208

14.3 SPF Modifier Registry (Registro dei modificatori SPF)​

L'IANA mantiene un registro per i modificatori SPF. Questa specifica definisce due modificatori:

  • redirect: Reindirizza la query SPF
  • exp: Fornisce testo di spiegazione in caso di fallimento

Nuovi modificatori possono essere registrati tramite documenti RFC. I modificatori sconosciuti devono essere ignorati dalle implementazioni SPF.
