Domain Owner actions include publishing SPF records for aligned domains, configuring DKIM signing with aligned domains, setting up aggregate-report mailboxes, publishing DMARC Policy Records for Author and Organizational Domains, collecting and analyzing reports, remediating unaligned or unauthenticated mail streams, and deciding whether to move from Monitoring Mode to Enforcement.

Mail Receiver actions include extracting the Author Domain, determining whether DMARC applies, finding Authenticated Identifiers, checking Identifier Alignment, determining DMARC pass or fail, applying policy when appropriate, storing results, sending aggregate reports, and optionally sending failure reports.
